I have always been interested in creative exploration and have made art in various forms throughout my life, but I first started prioritizing art-making in the fall of 2018. While oil painting is my primary focus, I am interested in other art forms and spend time exploring a variety of mediums. My love for the natural world is the biggest source of inspiration for my work. I am at my happiest, most essential self when I am outdoors, particularly in the woods, and in those moments I wish to share that joy with others. I hope my paintings may in some way, however small, inspire a sense of stewardship for wildlife and wilderness.
I live in Homer, Alaska with my partner and our dog Otto.
The name Many Anemones came about from my frequent tidepooling adventures on Kachemak Bay. My actual name is so common that there seemed to be no reasonable variation available for a website.
